Like many of you, after vacationing on the Cape since the 60s my family was simply in love with the Lower Cape. Nauset Beach was the beacon so in the 90s we finally bought in Orleans and have never looked back. Like I'm sure many of you would agree, moving to the Lower Cape was the best move we've ever made in our life. The Lower Cape is a vibrant area with much to do and at the same time it has much of the “old Cape Cod” that drew us here in the first place.

As a veteran of the US Navy Submarine Service it's certainly nice to now appreciate the ocean from the surface. After 7 years with the Navy I then spent many years in the high tech industry with Digital, Lotus and IBM where I held management positions in product development, sales, consulting and customer service. All great positions but by far the most enjoyable years were the consulting and customer service years. There I developed skills that are directly transferable to the real estate industry…attention to detail, listen to the client, diligence, tenacity and most important “stay focused on the needs of the client”.

I love this neat little area of the world and feel very fortunate to live year round where many others dream of just vacationing for a week.
